Wednesday Craft Night

Hello lovely people.  How are you all today, well I hope?  Last night was Wednesday craft night with the 'girls'.  As ever, it was a lovely evening of crafty chat, banter and fun!  This week I took a number of floral images I had stamped in order for me to fussy-cut them out (a job I find quite tedious on my own, but quite relaxing in a group of like minded ladies.  The images I took were from a selection of manufacturers, but the main one being Altenew.  The flower on today's card is from Altenew's 'Beautiful Day' stamp set.  Here are the pictures.

For those of you who e-mailed me to ask about the 'Photo Boards' I have been using, they are fantastic, light, reasonably priced, durable and so realistic and are from Photo Boards.org and if you use the code CARDATTIC you can get 10% discount!

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.

If you use my promo code to purchase a photo board, I do get a small commission at no extra cost to you and I only recommend them because I love them!

  1. This. Is. Gorgeous. I love this so much, Hazel. That flower reminds me of one of the gorgeous gowns we see the actresses wearing to the Oscar Awards. Your coloring and image layout is outstanding!

  6. I love the way you added color to stamps. Both the color of the flowers and the gentle staining of the leaves delighted me. But beautiful card !!

  9. You might not like it, but you certainly do a good job of the old fussy cutting! That's a beautiful image and I love the colour of it. It's nice just to be on its own on a card, it really doesn't need anything else. I'm so tempted by those photoboards, but hubby was so shocked by the cost and didn't understand what they were for really, so I'm holding off for now. They really do look lovely and add to your cards though. Much more professional looking. Xx

  10. Nice! I hate fussy cutting, that is why I splurged and bought the Brother Scan N cut 2. Worth the money!!! Off to check out these photoboards.

  12. Lovely card Hazel. I particularly love the beautiful bold orange / red shades of the main bloom and the softer yellows in the smaller flowers and sprigs. Beautifully colored.
