Today's card is for the Less is More - One Layer Card 'New Beginnings' Challenge I chose the stamp set, because they reminded me of spring and the beginning of all the pretty flowers coming up and showing their pretty little heads.
First I embossed the stitched panel into the card front with MFT 'Stitched Panels' die set to give the flowers a bit of a frame. Next I stamped the flowers, Stampin' Up 'Painted Petals' and the greeting in the embossed panel. The greeting was a darker colour green to make it stand out more, but I think it looks more like black in the picture!
It looked a little bit plain, even for CAS, so I added a few little pearls and sequins in order to give it a little 'lift' . . . what do you all think, with or without?
As always, I appreciate you stopping by and for any comments you leave, I love reading them and do reciprocate, where possible. Have a great day. Hazel x
the sequins definitely give it that little extra classy touch - very pretty.
