Pre-Cut, Pre-Stamped & Pre-Printed

Hello lovely people!  Another scheduled post for you.  I hope you are all having a good day (hopefully I am too).  For a card that is quick to put together, you can't get quicker than this!  I had the card base with the pre-printed digi paper adhered in my stash, the flower and leaves were images that I had stamped to take to one of my Wednesday evenings with my crafting buddies to fussy cut and the angled panel was from an angled border die that I had tried out.  So, the only things that I had to do was assemble and stamp a greeting (that I actually ended up stamping upside down . . . one thing, just ONE thing, and I couldn't even do that right!  So, I stamped it again on a small piece of card-stock and cut it into a little banner, shaped it and adhered it with a piece of foam tape . . . saved!

Here is the card.

The flower was from a Just Rite set, called, 'Romantic Wild Roses' and the sentiment was an old, Stampin' Up set called, 'Teeny Tiny Wishes'.  Then I spritzed and added a few black Nuvo Drops.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

A Scheduled Post!

Hello fellow crafters!  As most of you will know, and those of you who don't, will have guessed by the title, that I am away in Spain now!  I am hoping that this has published as planned and that I am now in the sunshine thinking of you all.

This was made using the Stampin' Up, 'What I Love' stamp set that I used HERE in this post, but with different colours (of course).  This time, I used yellows and oranges and added a bit of metallic thread, dots of Glossy Accents and the small flower stamp as centres for the larger flowers this time.

Here is the card.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!  I hope you are all doing well and look forward to visiting you all on my return!

Just Four Tiny Stamps

Just one, last quick post before I leave for Spain.  I challenged myself to make a card from the new suite from Stampin' Up, without resorting to using the fabulous dies from the bundle - it has become far too easy to just grab one or two of the dies to make a very quick, but fabulous card!  I wanted to ensure I didn't become too lazy in my card making.

I used just four tiny stamps, two of the new colours and one of the sentiments (I know, technically that is five stamps, but it was only four to make the background design)  Don't check too carefully, as the stamping is not perfectly even - I was trying to make it in a hurry and just 'eyeballed' it, poorly, as it turned out - but it will show some of the versatility of the set!  Here it is.  I have pictured the four stamps used, in the photo at the very end of this post.

I will miss my crafting and blogging terribly while I'm away, but, most of all I will miss all you lovely, lovely people!  I will schedule a couple of posts for while I am away, so you don't all forget me! 😜

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

An Acetate Window Card

Hello my lovelies!  I am trying to get as much crafting done as I can before we go away, as I will be unable to craft or blog whilst away.  Today's card is an acetate window card, using the Eastern Palace Suite again.

This time I kept the medallion fairly simple and made more use of the DSP included in the suite.  This is my card today.

As you can see, acetate is very difficult to photograph successfully, but I have done what I can. 😉

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

What I Love

Hello fellow crafters.  I hope your weekend is going along nicely.  Lately, (apart from my obsession with my new suite of products from Stampin' Up) I have been trying to use some of my - unused to date - stamp sets.  This is one of those sets.  It is called 'What I Love' and it's from Stampin' Up.

This is the card I made.

The sentiment and tiny dots were from other stamp sets, but all the rest are from the one, small set.  I'm trying to get a good bit of crafting done before we go away, as, most of you will know, I don't get the opportunity to craft or blog whilst I am away.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

Can't Stop Playing . . .

. . . with this new suite from Stampin' Up!

Hello fellow crafters!  How are you all today, well, I hope?  I have another card here for you from the Stampin' Up 'Eastern Palace' suite that includes, card-stock in three colours, patterned papers, three ink pads, tassel embellishments, gold foil stickers, a set of stamps and the most amazing die set they have ever come up with!  Everything coordinates beautifully and the permutations really are limitless!  I predict you will see an awful lot of this suite!

On another subject entirely, I can't believe that we have just over a week before we go away on one of our bi-annual  trips to Spain!  Where has all the time gone? WOW!

Anyway, back to today's card, and here it is.

A New Suite Of Products

Hello lovely crafters.  Today, my card has been made from a new suite of products I purchased from Stampin' Up.  It is called, the Eastern Palace Suite, and includes, a stamp set, die set, patterned paper, ink pads, stickers and an embellishment pack.  And I have been eagerly awaiting it's arrival!  It arrived yesterday afternoon and, unusually for me, I had to use it straight away.  I love the way it all coordinates beautifully together!

This is the first card I made with it.

I have used no products other than what was contained in the kit, except for, embossing powder, glue and foam pads.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

A Two Challenge Card

Today lovely people, I have a card for two of my favourite challenges!  Freshly Made Sketches and this is the lovely sketch.

http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/freshly-made-sketches-286.html
As you will see, I turned the sketch on it's head . . . more of that later.  The other challenge is CAS Mix Up where they want to see, stamping, splattering and 'your choice', again, . . . more of that later!

http://casmixup.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/cas-mix-up-may-challenge.html

Here is my card . . . explanations below!

First, I took a panel of white card-stock the same size as my base card and partially die-cut the top with a (very old) die from supplies.  Then I stamped a flower arrangement in Versamark ink and heat embossed it using platinum embossing powder by WOW.  Then, I water-coloured the flowers using my Inktense pencils and a water brush.  Next, I splattered it with some red paint on a paintbrush.

When the panel was dry I attached a piece of vellum longer than needed for the card front and folded over the excess and attached that to another panel the same size as a card front, so I had a see-through bit.  Next, I adhered a sheet of patterned paper to another panel and sandwiched the whole thing together, so you could see the patterned paper through the vellum, lost yet? . .  I am! 😜

To finish, I added a strip of patterned paper that was actually a strip of scrap card-stock covered with some washi, and a stamped sentiment that I mounted with foam tape, adhered a few sequins in matching colours and, of course, the obligatory, lick of Stella on the flowers and vellum panel!  Phew!

I do hope that all made a modicum of sense, any questions, don't ask me, ask Jennifer McGuire, who came up with the design some months ago, that I remembered (kind of). 😉

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!
