A Missed Deadline


Last week I saw the sketch below for a challenge at the blog, 'Just Add Ink' and I wanted to make a card following the sketch.  This is the sketch.

Well, I got busy with one thing and another and missed the deadline by miles!  But I still wanted to use the sketch and this is what I came up with.

    This is beautiful Hazel and the doily behind the pretty flower works so well, and I love the outline foliage too in black which coordinates perfectly with the lovely sentiment. Such a shame you missed the deadline. x
