Altenew's Peony Bouquet, Bits & Bobs Card

Hi lovelies!  My card today was made with another Altenew stamp set that hadn't been inked up yet!  Yes, shocking, I know.  Anyway, as the title of the post suggests, a lot of the card was made with 'bits & bobs' . . . in other words, 'snippets', so I will link this to Di's 'Playground'  . . . something else, I woefully neglect . . . sorry Di!

The water-coloured strip was from a background I was trying out, the black strip was also from my 'snippet' box and the die cut 'love' was also laying around after 'testing' the die.

After I stamped the flowers, I fussy cut them and laid them out in an arrangement and used the 'Press & Seal' trick for adhering them.  Unfortunately, the Press & Seal started to lift the 'face' off my card, so the image was lifting away (darn, that stuff is sticky, be warned) I managed to rescue it and did a repair job, by re-sticking the layer that had come away with wet glue.  Then, I adhered them flat - as I felt I had enough dimension going through the mail already, with the dew drops and die cut sentiment.

Here are the rest of the photos.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!
