Guess What . . .
. . . yes, folks, you guessed it . . . another pre made panel! Unfortunately, I think that for quite a while now, the cards I post will mostly be made with pre made panels! I had a pile of them in a drawer! If anyone has any ideas for me on how to use them, let me know in the comments below! Here it is.
This one is my favourite so far! I do have the other half of this watercolour panel - and the previous one - so they will also follow at some point, I have plans for them!
Thank you so much for spending time to visit today and especially if you have left a comment. They brighten my day!
If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.

So pretty with that gold framing
ReplyDeleteLove the sparkle and the color combo on this one! I am totally fine with you using up your pretty pre-made panels! I even hope it will rub off on me and motivate me to start using my box full of pre-made panels...!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! LOVE the colours of your watercoloured panel. They look amazing with the gold embossed flowers and gold frame. I'm the same as you ... lots of background panels from experimenting. I have organized my studio so that they are at my fingertips and I am remembering (so far) to look through them before starting a card. :) xx
ReplyDeleteThis is really beautiful Hazel and that gold embossed background stamping looks great with those orange red and yellow colours over it, and the gold mirri layer coordinates perfectly. The black die cut and stamped sentiment stands out really well and finishes it so elegantly. I love your array of stitched lines decorating the base card too. x
ReplyDeleteYou just keep these coming. You asked what you can do with the backgrounds....You just keep doing these and sharing your amazing creations. Gorgeous colours on your card and do so love the pop of gold x
ReplyDeleteYou are using your pre-made panels perfectly, Hazel!! This is stunning!! I love the gold embossing and the beautiful colors!! This is so gorgeous!! Love, love it my friend!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

ReplyDeleteWonderful card Hazel. Love the gold embossing and I absolutely love the stitches on the background panel. Great idea. I have a box of experimental backgrounds always thinking I really SHOULD use them. Helas. So good for you that you make a good use of them. Love & hugs to you, Veerle x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gold heat embossed background, Hazel. Love how you framed your piece and added your stitched background too. TFS my friend. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI keep 2 clear SU stamp set boxes on my desk with my favorite backgrounds..alcohol inks and smooshed/watercolored. I go thru them with almost every card design..do not necessarily use any, but they often give me ideas too. Happy stamping..
looks like you're doing pretty well on your figuring out what to do with the premade panels - this one is gorgeous - love all the gold witht orange/yellow colors!! those colors would make a pretty autumn card doing the same idea with maple leaves.
ReplyDeleteThe golden flowers are so pretty in the gold frame! Great use of your panel again!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so lovely, gorgeous color compliments the glittery embossing so well and those criss crossed stitch lines behind...wow wow. The panels you are not absolutely in love with are great for die cut words.
ReplyDeletePre-made panel or not, this is one gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a glamorous card! It's stunning, Hazel, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of the background pieces.
ReplyDeleteKeep them coming, Hazel! I love backgrounds and yours are all so beautiful! A couple of ideas would be to die cut inlay a word into one, or die cut them with "hidden" frames and such. I'm sure you knew all that already, but you asked for ideas - ha! Thank you SO much for your comments today on my blog and at MFT. Your encouragement means so much to me!
ReplyDeleteOh I can see why it is a favourite! I love the stitched detail in the background - a bit of sewing, faux or real is really doing it for me at the moment! The shimmer from that gold embossing powder is really gorgeous. xx
ReplyDeleteOh, it must be so much fun to use all of these pre-made treasures, Hazel!!!! I love the gold embossing and the gold frame on this card and the sentiment in black works fabulously!!!! The diagonal embossed line are so lovely!!! Such a beautiful card, my friend!!!!
