Hello crafty buddies! Did you miss me as much as I missed you? We have had our friends down from the other end of the country for a visit all week. They brought the sunshine with them so we had some lovely trips out and some equally lovely meals out too! The advantage of taking someone around your home area and showing them some of the places of interest, is that you see your home town and surrounding areas through new eyes and appreciate it with renewed eagerness! However, as lovely as it was, I did miss my crafting, so as soon as we said our very fond farewells, I immediately went to my craft room and made this card, just for the sake of crafting.

It certainly has been wonderful weather for your friends visit and I am so glad you have been able to share this wonderful part of the country with them. Your cards is absolutely gorgeous, just love that flower die - where did that one come from my friend?
ReplyDeleteThis is really very pretty Hazel and I love the way the background stencilling fades gradually fades out, and then the beautiful white flower with the black foliage looks so striking on top. I know what you mean, it is lovely to have visitors, but it is equally lovely to get back to normal after they have gone home. x

I've had a very ill hubby at home, it took a week for the doctor to find out what he had (mycoplasma) but now he's on the ment thank god for that.
