My Time With Family

Well folks, no card today, as you will know, we had lovely stepdaughter and grandson Max down for a few days and time was spent (more importantly) with them.  Pictures and short video clips of Max can be seen on my Instagram HERE

The other thing that happened was, Beck helped me start organising my craft space!  I have never shown my craft space as it is in an appalling state. and I have been too overwhelmed by the sheer size of the task to tackle it!   That is going to change!  I am moving over to one of the small bedrooms, so the bed is still in there at present, but once that goes, I will be able to buy some storage units and put the rest in there, I have already ordered a Raskog cart, due to arrive next Friday Here are the pictures so far.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know! If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.

  1. looks like you have a great start on your new crafting space - i've weeded out loads of paper so far - and then i get the itch to create and the organizing goes by the wayside. oh well...the best laid plans...

  2. Your grandson is darling! And your space is shaping up nicely. I have a dark corner of our basement to craft in. Maybe someday...

  5. Looks like this is going to be a great space to craft in Hazel and I have no idea what a raskog cart is so perhaps you will show us when it is ready, and you obviously had a good time with Beck and Max and a willing hand to help with the reorganisation of the craft space. I have been doing much the same thing since Christmas myself. I work on the dining table at one end of the sitting room so have to try to keep it under control, not an easy task...lol. x

Well done, it's not easy and takes an enormous amount of time and sheer effort. My legs and back where sore yesterday as a result but very keen to finish so cracking on today. No time for roast dinner today x Thinking of you and here's to lots of crafting in our tidy and organised space!!! xxx

  16. Wow! you've made a great start on the organizing, and this looks very light & perfect for your craft space. I love some of your organizing furniture. I got 2 of the Raskog carts at Ikea when we were in Fla. Took my copics out of the wallets and the bag where they were kept. Have them in little bins, by color, in the Raskog trays. Not sure I'm going to like this, but trying it for a while. I really take my hat off to you, for even knowing where to start with the organizing process! I should follow your splendid example! TFS

  17. Your new craft space is looking great already Hazel. I only heard about the Raskog yesterday and really wish I had room for one in my cabin. You certainly look well organised. I would be ashamed to show my space!

I hope you had lots of fun with your family. Little Max is adorable. Barbxx
