Playing With Alcohol Inks
Hello my patient blogging buddies! The weather is warming a tad - although, it is still very gloomy and wet - but at least I am not actually freezing in my attic now! So, on that note, I was playing with some alcohol inks on glossy photo paper, and although I didn't like my results as much as some of the amazing pieces you are all turning out at present, I didn't want to waste it.
I also wanted to try a new embossing folder out, so I cut a frame to put the AI panel behind and run it through the EF. Then all that was left to do was to choose a sentiment. I also added some black Nuvo drops to tie in the sentiment. Here it is.
Thank you all so much for your continued patience and understanding and support!
Also, thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment. You are all appreciated more than you know!
If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.

ReplyDeleteHi Hazel, sorry I've been MIA for a while, but will read your older posts to try to find out what's going on in your world. I think the color choices you've made on this piece are stunning. Love how you've used the embossing on the frame, as it really lets the alcohol piece shine! I'm having problems with comments, so having to find out who has visited using another method. I happened to see your sweet face when visiting at another blog which reminded me to zip over to see your work! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove the colours of your AI panel, Hazel. So pretty with the drops of rubbing alcohol that form small bubbles! And beautiful embossed design on the frame. So happy to see you posting! Have missed you! xx
ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't be ashamed of that at all - it's fabulous! It's such a pop of colour and works really well with that embossing folder. Keep sharing when you can. It's hard when the weather isn't so great. There's more snow on the way - waaaaaahhhhh! xx
