Cards Seven & Eight of Eight - Plus Bonus

Hello all my lovely friends.  I do hope you are all having a lovely weekend - better than mine anyway!  Today, I have the final instalment of  'One Die Set, Many Ways'.  It's been great fun, but it's time to move on - although, I do know that it won't be the end for this die set!  I have done something completely different with the last two and not just changed the layout!  In the first, I have used the die to dry emboss the card and in the second, I have used it as a stencil.  Which brings me to the bonus, a card I made with the die cut I used as a stencil!  Without further ado, here are the final cards *warning - picture heavy post*

Card #7

Card #8

I don't know if you can see it in the post, but I embossed the black strip with matte black embossing paste through a stencil.

Bonus card.

All together.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

  1. your embossed card is so pretty - also the stenciled card - but the embossed is the prettiest of all of them.

  2. Another two great way to use this beautiful die cut. You have shown us beautiful and very creative cards during this mini series. Don't think to use die cuts normally 'dry' so will be adding that one to the 'to do' list. The first card is so classy and love the colours in the second and another great idea to use black embossing paste on the sentiment...another one for the 'to do' list. Always love a bonus and what a bonus...the prettiest of card, great techniques and thank you for all the inspiration. It's good to be reminded what you can do with a die cut and I am very grateful x Enjoy the rest of the day...Raining here so Andy Murray it is xxx

  7. Gosh, what a wealth of marvelous looks you've created with this fantastic die. On the black embossing, I thought perhaps that was the microfine glitter, so good that you said it was emb. paste. It adds such a touch of class to the lovely white embossed pattern. Very elegant. Also love the stenciling through the die- I tried that recently with another die, and mine didn't turn out so nicely (I used sponging, also did dry embossing and colored with pencils. Both were 'ok'...but not the vivid colors of your turquoise. This looks so pretty! Well done Girl! Big Hugs and have a good week.

  16. Really unbelievable how many different cards you made with this die! Today's are out of this world! Using it to emboss looks subtle and elegant, I adore the stenciled card, and I am so happy you didn't throw out the "stencil" but used it to make another fabulous card!
Can't wait to see what you will pick next to make a series of...
Hope your Mum is getting better every day!
