. . . where has all the months gone? I'm sure someone stole November from right under my nose!
I am frantically trying to catch up on all the things I have to do for Christmas - not only for me, but for Mum as well, as she is unable to get out and about on her own, but, of course, still wants to 'do' Christmas, not the meal, just cards and presents - so that means I have to do twice the amount of organising of those things. Oh, well. This is why I have been so remiss with my blog visits and comments - not to mention, my posts, for which, I must apologise profusely!
Enough of the waffle, here are a couple more Christmas cards that I have managed to make! They are quick and simple. as that is all I have time for. The embossing folder is one I saw my good friend Bonnie Klass use in her post HERE which, then, of course, I had to buy, because I loved it so! Bonnie made me do it! Well, that's what I tell everybody! 😉 Thanks Bonnie!
Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment. You are all appreciated more than you know!
If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.
What a gorgeous card Hazel and the background embossing is beautiful, and can see why it was a must have, and the different coloured baubles look so pretty. I must admit I am well behind with everything too and I don't have half the time constraints that you do, and it is great that you are helping your Mum to still 'do' Christmas. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Hazel, love them x
ReplyDeleteMore pretty cards Hazel, just love the baubles! I know what you mean about Xmas and doing 'stuff', the days/weeks/months fly by don't they ;) hugs Viv xx
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome color combo! Great card!!

Absolutely gorgeous cards Hazel, I really really love the baubles and the colours you have used :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we are in December already I feel like I have skipped from spring to Christmas this year lol
Hugs Kaz xxx
Funny, Hazel, I have a post schedules for tomorrow for my Inspired By duties and my title is "Eek! It's December!" I think we are all feeling panic, which is silly since we knew it was coming, lol! And not only that, we do it year after year!! I was just thinking of your mom yesterday, wondering how she was doing. I feel for you having to do double duty; you are a good girl!
ReplyDeleteI love your colorful and simple card! It's a great design! That Bonnie has enabled me a time or two, as well!! Hugs, Darnell
Sweet cards...love those ornaments and your choice of colors is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Hazel. It's good that you help your mum out! Happy season of craziness. PLease take some time for your self. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteSo very elegant and love the dry embossing on the background too. Busy time of year and thinking of you x
ReplyDeleteLOL! Turnabout is fair play as the saying goes! I'm glad I could help add to your stash! I love your ornaments! Such pretty colors and so festive! You are a good daughter! I remember how hard it can be to do Christmas for our parent as well as ourselves. Sometimes it seems like we'll never be done on time, but somehow we always get it done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Hazel. I love the embossing paper and the lovely Christmas ornaments. Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteWell whoever stole your Nov, also stole mine! lol I can't believe we are in Dec either, but here to a better new year ahead! I love, love, love your card Hazel. You have nothing to apologize for as this is going to be a busy month for everyone. I can't keep up with commenting when it isn't a holiday month. That embossing folder is beautiful and I loved it too. Didn't buy it, but sure want to. lol Glad you were able to get it Hazel, it looks beautiful and I just love those ornaments. Are they a stamp??? Hugs, Brena
ReplyDeleteThere's definitely an international November thief on the loose out there! I hope someone nabs him and puts him behind bars. Your cards are perfect for the holidays - bright and merry and beautifully made. That EF is lovely. I think you'll get lots of use out of it, so it was a good buy.
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel. It seems like this year has just flown by. Where did all those months go?? I can imagine that you are busy getting ready and helping your mom ... you are a wonderful daughter!!
ReplyDeleteLove the design you've made. Great idea to keep the design and just switch up colours or sentiment placement. I have done some of that this year too and it really helps to build the Christmas card stash.
Take care ... put up your feet and rest a bit too so that you're not tuckered out when the big day arrives. Say hi to your mom for me. xx
HOW absolutely beautiful your card is...I always struggle with the CAS style...you have nailed it!!
ReplyDeleteCheers

I feel the same way, Hazel! Someone is snatching weeks and months from under me! I can't believe the year is almost over!
ReplyDeleteYour ornaments look fabulous on the embossed background! Isn't it wonderful how we enable each other? (My bank account might not quite agree with it...)
Oh, and if you feel like you have to apologize profusely for not blogging much, what should I do??? Haven't had time to write a post in so long... We all do what we can, right?
ReplyDeleteWonderful Christmas card, Hazel! I love the colors and that embossed background! I'm only around here a fraction of time I would like. Merry Christmas to you and your family. My mom and I are in a similar place right now. She can come out with me though - today it will be wheelchairs in the snow!
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous, and I love the non-traditional colors on these wonderful hanging ornaments. You couldn't have a better enabler than Miz B. I can sympathesize with you about doing 'double' work, and just when you think all is quiet, another event starts taking the craft time. So no apologies needed...I understand totally and I'll bet your other blog buddies do too. It's a lovely card, and I'll be checking the link to see if I missed anything, (as I've been way too MIA this past year myself). Thank you for the lovely CAS card you so kindly sent. Even more touched to receive it, knowing how busy your life is! My best wishes to your sweet Mom that she can enjoy the season with all her family, you can get a little rest and enjoy it as well. Merry Christmas to all of you, TFS & Big hugs. Maybe 2018 will be quieter. I've learned that quiet and dull are not always bad things to have! :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully made.
