My Last Christmas Card

Hello lovely people!  Firstly, I need to apologise for my lack of posts of late, but most of all, for not visiting all of  you, my dear friends!  My mum has been quite poorly again - not as bad as this time last year, thank the Lord - but she caught a cold, which then developed into a nasty chest infection.

I was so worried it could develop into Pneumonia (as it does so very often with older folk), but she was prescribed more antibiotics - she's allergic to most of them, but, luckily, not these.  So, she is on the mend - still quite a way from being well - but I am praying she will be 100% by Christmas.

So, a big thank you to those of you who kindly sent me Christmas cards (I haven't even had time to thank you in person, so, again, I apologise), but I have appreciated every single one of them!  And I think I have managed to get all of mine done at last.  This card that I am posting today, is the one I made for my mother (she loves bling, so it is quite sparkly, and busy, but it's what she likes).

I'm afraid, I think this will probably be my last post for this year - if I do get a chance, I will post another - but I think it will probably be in the new year now.  So, if I don't get a chance, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support throughout the year and wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy and happy new year too.

Sorry for rambling, here is the card.

Thank you so much for your visit today and especially if you have left a comment.  You are all appreciated more than you know!

If you have a question, please be sure I have a way to contact you so I can answer, as a lot of you are 'no-reply' bloggers, so I am unable to reply via e-mail.

  18. (1)Your Sweet Mom comes ahead of this blog and visiting other bloggers! We all understand that. Now, this is just a most beautiful card, not too much bling and I know she loved it. I really like this pretty wreath. The embossed stripes behind the traditional colors of the fishtail mats, makes the wreath shine so nicely. Also love the 'berries'. Hope Mom is still improving, and yes, these chest conditions can morph into pneumonia so fast. I'm thankful she got the right antibiotics that she could take, that would treat it rapidly! Big hugs to you AND your Mom, (and DH too)...and wishing the best to all of you in 2018. TFS &Hugs
